The ninth truth, “Plan of Salvation”, gives emphasis to the need for everyone to be prepared to share a plan of salvation to anyone with whom the Holy Spirit is leading you to witness God’s saving grace through Jesus Christ.

Today there exists many very good methods and proven designs of how to share a plan of salvation. I will deal with 5 here.
1. “Ever wish you had an easy way to express to others the joy you've found in Christ? Ever regret not sharing the simple Truths because you were afraid?” “Share Jesus Without Fear” is a great design of learning how to share your witness of Christ comfortably and naturally with others. Check out the web site
2. The design, “Way of the Master” is another very unique and effective tool for sharing Christ. It focuses on applying a witness method used by Christ. It helps one realize they are lost spiritually because they have broke the “Law” of God, the Ten Commandments.  Check out the web site
3. The “3 Circles Evangelism Training Kit” is a great tool for you and your entire church. It will help you train every believer in your church to turn everyday conversations into Gospel conversations. To check this out and to order kits, visit
4. “Color Code”, is a very simple design using colors to illustrate several Biblical truths in a progressive series leading up to guiding one to receive Christ. This has been traditionally used with the “Wordless Bible”, the “Power Bracelet”, the “Salvation Glove” or anything where colors fit the presentation such as using balloons.
5. The “Roman Road”. When I was a youth minister several decades ago in NC, the youth had to memorize this plan as one of the  requirements to go on our annual summer mission trip. We all can and should memorize this. This plan can also be used in a marked New Testament. Included here is the Roman Road with a graphic design to use that helps one with their presentation of a Plan of Salvation.
Memorize this - Carry this in your pocket - You will always be prepared

1. THE FIRST KNOT represents your physical birth. We all have a physical birth; it’s a fact of life. God created us in His image and in love. He wants us to have an abundant life.   Genesis 1:27; John 3:5; John 4:24; John 10:10
2. THE DARK BEAD represents spiritual darkness because of sin. The Bible says that we are all sinners and that we fall short of the glory of God. We cannot experience the abundant life God wants for us because of our sins. John 10:10; Romans 3:23
3. THE RED BEAD represents the shed blood of Jesus for our sins. Jesus is the precious, most special and last sacrifice of blood for the forgiveness of our sins and the redemption of our sacred lives through the love of God. John 3:16; Romans 5:8; 1 John 1:7
4. THE WHITE BEAD represents the redemption of our sacred lives. By the love of God in his Son Jesus Christ and our faith in what he has done for us on the Cross; we have forgiveness and cleansing from our sins. Acts 3:18; Titus 3:4 – 6; Romans 6:22
5. THE BLUE BEAD represents the symbolic act of baptism by immersion in water. The physical baptism represents and symbolizes the washing of our sin by our faith in Jesus and that God has saved us through the spiritual washing of His Holy Spirit. The baptism by immersion also represents our faith in the life, death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Matthew 28:18 – 20; Acts 8:36
6. THE GREEN BEAD represents the spiritual growth or our desire to be disciples of Christ and to mature and grow in our relationship with him. The Christian disciplines are to read and study the Bible, pray in the name of Jesus, worship and praise God in the name of Jesus, assemble with other believers of like faith and to serve God and all others in the name of Jesus.  2 Peter 3:18; 1 Timothy 2:4
7. THE YELLOW BEAD represents heaven and the glory of God. We will have the blessing of living for eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   John 14:1 – 4; Revelations 21:1 – 3
8. THE LAST KNOT represents the end of physical life and that each person is going to stand before God and the final judgment.  Hebrews 9:27
9. THE CLEAR BEAD represents the call of Christ to repentance and to put our faith only in Him.
Mark 1:15; John 14:6; John 3:16; John 17:3
