2 Chronicles 7:14 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Revival-Revival-Revival-Revival…We certainly want it but are we willing to do what is required in order to have it…? If we really are Born Again Baptized Active Members of our church, are we actively doing what God really wants us to do in order to have revival? The very first thing God tells us to do in order for us to receive revival from Him is that we are to humble ourselves. Everything hinges on this very first desire or commandment from God. We are not humbling ourselves to God if we are not humbling ourselves to one another. We are not humbling ourselves to God if everything has to be our way or the Parkway. We are not humbling ourselves to God if we are not willing to do whatever it takes to evangelize and disciple others in Christ. A church that is growing is a church that is proactive…progressive…forward thinking… long range planning…& willing to do whatever it takes to reach others for Christ. Many will say, “well if one church gets them with a hotdog, another church will get them back with a hamburger…” Jesus didn’t worry with that complaint nor did he worry about that complaint. It’s just an excuse not to do something. The second truth is that we are to be sincerely willing to surrender ourselves to God and to one another. (1 Peter 5:5)
